Captain’s Orders!

Michael Loe hits the stage!!!

Captain Michael Loe will be a featured artist at the fifth annual Uncertain Bigfoot Bash on October 10th starting at 1pm located at the wonderful Johnson’s Ranch Marina! A well known figure within the Uncertain/ Karnack communities, Loe is a United States Coast Guard licensed master boat captain offering tours for locals and tourists alike. When he isn’t making a splash in Caddo Lake Michael plays a little music on the side, and now we get to see him take on the Bigfoot Bash Stage!

For a Good Cause

Something special about the Captain’s set, is that it will be part of a donation drive for Mike Brown, another well known and respected local who has lost his home and almost everything along with it in a fire recently. We at the Uncertain Bigfoot Bash are working with Michael on ways to bring in donations for Mr. Brown. We will have a donation bucket that can be found at the Bash booth where you can leave a contribution, and during Loe’s set it will be moved onto the stage. There will be some pretty good raffle/auction items that will have proceeds going towards the cause.

House fire on Marion County side of Caddo Lake leaves Navy veteran without a home

A recent house fire destroyed the home of Navy Veteran Mike Brown. It happened on the Marion County side of Caddo Lake.

According to a fundraiser organized by a friend, Game Warden Matt Childress, Brown lost his belongings in the fire, including family heirlooms, military awards and clothing. Brown currently has nowhere to live.

The fundraiser is intended to help with his immediate needs, including food, clothing and temporary housing. Childress says donations will also help Brown work toward securing another place to live on his property.

Those who would like to help can donate to or share the fundraiser click here.
