What is CLUCK?

The Caddo Lake Uncertain Chicks Klub, aka CLUCK, have been a force for good in the Uncertain area for many years. The “Chicks” and “Cockle-Doodle-Dudes” are mainly comprised of locals that come together every Wednesday for food, community fellowship all the while planning out ways to help, support or give back to people that have been struck by hard times and circumstance.

The spirit of giving is still alive and well! Bake sales are a major way that the group raises money, but they also occasionally put together food drives throughout the year. Annually a “Men of Caddo Lake” calendar is made featuring some of the lucky fellows in CLUCK and the surrounding area.

CLUCK meets Wednesday’s around 1:30pm at Johnson’s Ranch, and depending on the weather the Caddo Lake Lighthouse, for a potluck style luncheon in which they plan for any upcoming events on the horizon.

CLUCK will be back at this year’s Uncertain Bigfoot Bash putting on a bake sale again to benefit the Karnack area Angel Tree program headed by Amanda Evans Waldon. Last year, the bake sale raised $400 with us at the Uncertain Bigfoot Bash putting an extra $200 on top. We want to beat that $600 donation this year and make sure the kids have a wonderful Christmas!
